Voices of the Founders ("the App") is developed and published by Ashton Jung. This policy explains what data the App collects and how it is used.

Summary

The App does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. It has no user accounts, no analytics, no ads, and makes no network requests of its own — everything the App does happens entirely on your device.

What the App stores, and where

All data below is stored only on your device, using local app storage. It is never sent anywhere. Deleting the App deletes it permanently.

• Quiz progress: which questions you've answered, your accuracy per Founding Father, and your wrong-answer history (so you can review mistakes).
• Game state: XP, streak count, coin balance, best scores, and daily challenge/spin progress.
• Preferences: sound and music volume settings, and whether the daily reminder notification is enabled.

Permissions the App requests

• Notifications — only used to show the optional daily reminder you can enable in Settings. If you don't enable this, the App never requests notification access at all.
• Haptics / vibration — used only for feedback when you answer a question. This does not require any permission grant.

No other device permissions (location, camera, microphone, contacts, photo library, etc.) are requested or used.

External links

Some Founder detail screens include "Learn more" links to third-party historical sources (e.g. Mount Vernon, the National Archives, the Library of Congress). Tapping one of these opens the site in your browser, which is subject to that site's own privacy policy — the App itself does not share any data with these sites.

Third parties

The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs. No data leaves your device under any circumstance.

Children's privacy

The App contains no user-generated content, accounts, chat, or data collection of any kind, and is safe for users of any age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in the future, an updated version will be published at the same location and the "Last updated" date above will be revised accordingly.
